The One Who Never Sleeps

This whole chapter, all eight verses, gives us such great comfort to know that the One who keeps watch never slumbers or sleeps! Verse 1 starts off right away by telling us to ‘look up’ cause that is where our help is coming from. The words ‘keepers and preserve’ here mean the exact same thing…to keep (safety)! Over and over again, and in different ways, David tells us that the Lord is the One watching and keeping us safe! We may sometimes feel lonely, but we are NEVER alone! Such great comfort in that!!
