Peace in Every Situation

This is the story of Joseph. He was sold by his loved ones, he was a slave, Potiphar bought him, saw God was with him and promoted him in his household, Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce him, he fled from her presence and was thrown in prison again. Yet we see here in verse seven, he asked Pharaoh‘s officers who were in the ward with him, why they looked so sad. THEY WERE IN PRISON. I think I would probably be sad as well. But we see throughout the whole story of Joseph’s life that he was not. He endured a lot. I think the betrayal of my family would hurt the most. But we don’t see that with him. As a matter of fact, we see over and over again throughout the story, God was with him. Joseph truly found peace in every situation. May I always remember that God is with me and no matter what, I can have true joy.
